• b/c she’s a statistician, she doesn’t trust computers. always looks at raw data
• “accounting for sparsity is hard” (doesn’t seem immediately connected to my topic, though)
• uses mainly R scripts + a bit of python
• found prototype really interesting
• thought that “describe” is drawing a fake diagram
• didn’t really read the “warning” part of the diagram
